NZDW Itinerary: Thursday 5 March

IT’S TIME TO GO GLOBAL

Here’s what we recommend for Thursday 5 March. Whether you’re looking to scale your business globally or find the final piece for a home project, these sessions are not to be missed.

TRADE DAY: THE DESIGN EXPORT BLUEPRINT

There are less than half the seats remaining for “Global Aotearoa: The Design Export Blueprint”. This high-impact masterclass series at Residium bridges the gap between readiness and international execution. It is a rare opportunity to hear directly from strategic experts and founders who have successfully scaled creative brands beyond Aotearoa. Unfortunately Tim Rundle and Emma Lewisham are no longer able to attend, however we do have 25 Emma Lewisham gift sets to give away to attendees on the day.

EVENING INSPIRATION: ART & CRAFT

On Thursday evening, continue your journey of inspiration in Onehunga and Mt Roskill.

The Art Precinct (3pm–5pm): Experience the intersection of legacy and technology at NZ’s first AR-powered art platform. Discover how “art personas” are used to build meaningful, holistic collections.

Ambitec (6pm–8pm): Celebrate the unveiling of Ambitec’s new showroom and the launch of their now locally manufactured signature product line. Experience their full range of finishes up close and enjoy cross-disciplinary collaborations featuring local artists.

EXPLORE THE DESIGN CIRCUIT

Thursday and Friday are also the perfect time to mosey around the Design Circuits. Running from Monday 2nd March to Sunday 8th March, these self-guided routes allow you to explore the city’s design scene at your own pace. Use the Design Circuit Map to navigate key design hubs—from Ponsonby to Parnell and the CBD—taking in public art installations and showroom activations along the way.
